BADAR ORAL ORDER 04-01-2022 The applicant/accused in Crime No.03 of 2021 registered with Police Station-Malaypur for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, by this application is seeking his release on bail during the pendency of the trial.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the applicant/ accused. He submits that the applicant is behind the bars from 03.01.2021 and only a country made pistol with a bullet is shown to be recovered from him.

Learned A.P.P. opposed the application.

I have considered the submissions so advanced and also perused the materials placed before me.

It is seen from perusal of the application itself that after getting bail in several similar offences, the applicant is

At least four similar offences are seems to have been registered against the applicant in past. In this view of the matter, at this stage, the applicant does not deserve bail. Therefore, the following orders: (I) The application is rejected with direction to the trial court to take up the trial and to finish it within a period of eight months from today.

(II). The applicant is at liberty to renew his request for bail if the trial is not finished within the prescribed time. (A. M. Badar, J) P.S./- U T
