1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned APP for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 624 of 2022 dated 18.12.2022 registered for the offence(s) punishable under Section(s) 171(F), 188, 147, 149, 224, 225, 332, 307, 333, 353, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. The main submissions advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner are that against the petitioner, there is a simple allegation of having threatened the voters at the booth during the local ward election but the said allegation is against several persons and amongst them some are unidentified, in fact the petitioner's wife and family member of the Manager

No.24846 of 2023(2) dt.18-05-2023 2/3 of Maa Vindhwashni Petrol pump contested Municipal Election of 2022 for the post of Chief Councillor and at the instance of the said Manager, present case was falsely lodged to refrain the petitioner's wife from contesting the said election and in the present matter, two persons are stated to have sustained injuries which are opined to be simple in nature caused by hard and blunt object and the petitioner has been languishing in jail since 08.02.2023 and against him, there are criminal antecedents of two cases out of which he has got bail in one case. Further submission is that the petitioner is employed in the C.I.S.F and against him, the investigation has been completed.

4. Per contra, the learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account the materials available on record and also the completion of investigation against the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to admit the petitioner to the privilege of bail.

6. Accordingly, let the petitioner named-above be enlarged on bail in connection with Arwal P.S. Case No. 624 of 2022 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand)
