2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hayaghat PS Case No. 14 of 2026 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 126 (2), 115 (2), 118 (2), 109, 303 (2) 352, 351 (2), 3 (5) of the BNS pending in the Court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate VI, Darbhanga.

3. Allegation is of assault on the nephew of the informant.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the specific allegation of assault is against co-accused Md Irshad. Name of the petitioner transpired during confessional statement of co-accused as a member of the gang. It is further

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioner.

6. Considering the period of custody and fair antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below/concerned Court in connection with Hayaghat PS Case No. 14 of 2026.
