The petitioner, who is in custody since 19.6.2014 has prayed for grant of bail in connection with Forbesganj P.S. Case No.206 of 2013 registered for the offence under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code.

It was submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner was not named in the F.I.R. nor during investigation any plausible material was collected by the investigating agency showing involvement of the petitioner. He submits that only on the basis of secret information the petitioner has been made accused.

Besides hearing learned counsel for the parties, I have also perused the materials available on record, particularly, the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49422 of 2014 (3) dt.08-04-2015 2/2 statement made in paragraph no. 3 of the present petition which indicates that the petitioner is accused in at least eleven cases registered for serious offences.

In view of the facts and circumstances, particularly, antecedent of the petitioner, I do not find any ground to extend the privilege of bail.

The petition stands dismissed.
