The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Atari P.S. Case No. 176/2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is alleged to have assaulted the father of the informant with tangi on his head.

It is submitted that the injury is not caused by sharp edged weapon, it is caused by hard blunt substance. The petitioner assaulted the father of the informant with tangi and only one injury was found on the body of Bigan Ram.

Considering the facts aforesaid and nature of allegation made against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Rakhi U T
