1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.
2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 302, 201 and 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. The learned APP for the State, at the outset, submits that the case is of the year 2021 and the petitioner at his leisure has moved this Court in the year 2026, but then process under Sections 82 and 83 Cr.P.C. has been issued, hence, petitioner is absconding and in the FIR the allegation against him is of being involved in the murder of the brother of the informant.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.21069 of 2026(4) dt.08-07-2026 2/2 petitioner is not in a position to rebut the submission of the learned APP for the State.
5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the fact that petitioner is an absconder, the Court is not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, the instant anticipatory bail application stands rejected.
