Let the said order be read accordingly.

The Court's order dated 25.04.2014, appears to have been complied with, though belatedly, with issuance of the letter dated 28.12.2017, passed by the Deputy Commandant GC, CRPF, Durgapur. By the said letter, the petitioner has been offered appointment.

Mr. S.D. Sanjay, learned Additional Solicitor General,

Patna High Court MJC No.4973 of 2014(7) dt.28-03-2018 2/2 appearing on behalf of the Union of India, has drawn my attention to paragraph 4 of the said letter to state that there is apparent typographical error inasmuch as 29.01.2017 has been typed in place of 29.012018. If the said date is to be read as 29.01.2018, in terms of the said letter dated 28.12.2017, the petitioner was required to submit his report for duty on or before 29.01.2018.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner did not receive any such communication dated 28.12.2017, which has been brought on record by way of Annexure-A.

Mr. S.D. Sanjay, learned Additional Solicitor General has stated that the date of joining shall be extended by one month from today.

In view of such stand taken on behalf of the contemneropposite party, the contempt proceeding is, hereby, dropped. Let a copy of this order be handed over to learned Additional Solicitor General for Union of India forthwith. (Chakradhari Sharan Singh, J) arun/- U
