JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-04-2023 In compliance of the judgment of this Court dated 25.08.2018 passed in CWJC No. 5334 of 2001, disobedience whereof has been complained of in the present petition, as also in compliance of the earlier order of this Court dated 22.03.2023, the learned Senior counsel for the contemnors has produced two cheques, totalling

Patna High Court MJC No.4366 of 2018(23) dt.05-04-2023 2/3 to a sum of Rs. 79,78,784/-, which is the balance amount out of the total payable amount of Rs. 1.12 crores an odd, on the head of arrears of salary, which had become payable on account of quashing of the order of dismissal of the petitioner, after deducting the amount already paid i.e. a sum of Rs. 32,21, 216/-. The said two cheques dated 05.04.2023 have been handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner, details whereof are being spelled out herein below:- (i) Cheque No. 004745 dated 05.04.2023 drawn on Bank of Baroda for a sum of Rs. 50,00,000/-;

(ii) Cheque No. 004746 dated 05.04.2023 drawn on Bank of Baroda for a sum of Rs. 29,78,784/-.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is satisfied that the order of this Court dated 25.08.2018 has been complied with in its true letter and spirit, however, the petitioner be granted liberty to agitate his subsisting grievances, in accordance with law.
