JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 08-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in (Krishnagadh) Barhara P.S. Case No. 11/2017 instituted for the offence under sections 20(B)/22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Act.

The prosecution case is that 11 kg. Ganja was recovered from a locked room of a marriage hall. The local people told the raiding party that the key of the room is with this petitioner. The raiding party made demand of key from father of this petitioner then he told the key is with his son (Petitioner) and he has gone to Banaras and told to do inspection after breaking the lock. Thereafter, the lock was broken and 11 kg. Ganja has been seized and seizure list has been prepared.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail.
