The petitioner, who is in custody since 24.01.2020 seeks bail in connection with Awatar Nagar P.S. Case No. 169/2018 dated 20.08.2018 instituted for the offences under Sections 375 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 /18 of the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

From the prosecution report, it appears that the petitioner had made an attempt to sexually exploit the minor daughter of the informant. However, on another person arriving at the spot, the minor daughter of the informant could be saved.

No.19994 of 2020(2) dt.26-06-2020 2/2 From the perusal of the First Information Report, it has been argued on behalf of the petitioner, it would clearly appear that allegations are totally cooked up. In support of the aforesaid contention, learned counsel for the petitioner has stated that the informant works in the field of the petitioner and because of some dispute over the wages, this case has been lodged. Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Awatar Nagar P.S. Case No. 169/2018.
