2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with K.Nagar (Srinagar) P.S. Case No. 293 of 2023, lodged on 17.05.2023 under Sections 341, 342, 323, 325, 307, 504, 506, 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, FIR has been lodged against seven named accused persons including the present petitioner. The specific allegation of assault on the informant and her family members is on the accused persons other than the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Counsel

No.23669 of 2024(2) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 also submits that the petitioner is aged about 61 years and from the bare reading of the FIR, it transpires that the petitioner was present at the place of occurrence, but there is no act or overt act made by him. Counsel further submits that the FIR indicates that the said occurrence took place due to a land dispute.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the criminal antecedent of the petitioner is clean and he is in custody since 04.10.2023.

6. Learned APP for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

7. In the present facts and circumstances of this case and the submissions made above, let the petitioner above named be granted bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Purnea in connection with K.Nagar (Srinagar) P.S. Case No. 293 of 2023, subject to the conditions as laid down U/s 437(3) Cr.P.C.
