JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 16-10-2023 The present writ has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. For issuance of an appropriate writ/writs, order/orders in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents for the payment of Rs 4 lakhs for the kin of people who died of Covid, as per the order issued in a public interest by the state government of Bihar (Annexure-1) that the kin of any person who succumbed to Covid-19 can claim the amount by presenting documents to prove that the death was due to the pandemic. Before payment was done from the C.M Relief Fund, later it was given from the State Disaster Relief Fund (SDRF). The Hon'ble Supreme Court had approved an amount of Rs 50,000 as ex gratia to

For issuance of a writ/order/direction for which the petitioner may be found legally entitled to under the facts and circumstances stated herein under." 2.

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Siwan, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, in view of the disputed question of facts, which have arisen in the present case. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.
