Petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 129 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Informant has alleged that when he had parked his scooty outside his godown which was stolen by some unknown thief.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. Name of the petitioner has surfaced in this case on the basis of his own confession when he ws apprehended in another case of theft, except said confession

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.68864 of 2018(2) dt.03-12-2018 2/2 there is no any other incriminating material against this petitioner. He is in custody since 20.06.2018. Considering the aforesaid fact and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail upon furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate- XIII, Motihari, East Champaran in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 129 of 2018.
