2. Petitioner apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 137 and 140(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the petitioner along with one Ganesh Rai in conspiracy with each other with an intention to grab the land and money have killed the informant's husband.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant is not an eye-witness to the occurrence and he has falsely been implicated in this case only on suspicion and land dispute. This petitioner is mausera brother of deceased has got some land in Nanihal and in no way connected with the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20677 of 2025(3) dt.09-07-2025 2/2 occurrence. It is further submitted that on the alleged date of occurrence petitioner was not even present in village. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

Learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submits that this petitioner along with Ganesh Rai killed the husband of the informant on account of land dispute. During course of investigation, it has come on record that there was dispute between the parties on partition of the land which was given to the deceased in Nanihal.
6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Neha/- U T
