The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is that he has applied for the post of M & E Assistant cum Data Entry Operator under the Health Department. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that notwithstanding fulfilling all the conditions for consideration of the case of the petitioner, the respondents have not considered the case of the petitioner. He submits that till date selection and appointment has not been made.

The writ application was filed on 4.9.2015. we are

In the aforesaid circumstances, instead of keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner along with other eligible candidates for selection provided the selection process is still going on and the petitioner is eligible for consideration. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondents within a period of four months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. It is made clear that in the event the respondents have abandoned the selection process and did not appointed any one in terms of the selection process, the respondents are not required to take into consideration the case of the petitioner for appointment.

With the aforesaid, the writ petition stands disposed of.
