In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Excise Case No. 299 of 2016 registered for offences under sections 47(A) of the Excise Act. As per allegation, the police arrested the present petitioner with 15 liter of illegal Chulai liquor which was kept in a white plastic bag.

Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, namely, Rama Mahto, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah (West Champaran) in connection with
