He is aggrieved by an order dated 16.05.2020 issued by the Block Development Officer, Sonbhadra Banshi, whereby he has been removed from the post of Secretary of the Ward.

Patna High Court CWJC No.6571 of 2020(14) dt.03-03-2022 2/2 conferred by Section 146 read with Section 170A, Section 170B and Section 170C of Bihar Panchayat Raj Act, 2006. Rule 16(5) of the Rules, 2017 prescribes tenure of a Ward Implementation and Management Committee for a term of two years.

This is an admitted fact that the petitioner was appointed as Secretary of the Ward in the year 2018. In such view of the matter, no useful purpose will be served by considering the present writ application on merits testing the correctness of the impugned order 16.05.2020, with lapse of two years of the tenure.
