2. The petitioner is in custody in connection with Halai P.S. Case No. 119 of 2024 for the offence punishable under sections 309(4), 109 of the BNS and Section 27 of Arms Act lodged on 05.11.2024 by the informant, Ramprit Singh.

3. As per the prosecution story, the informant alleged that while moving on a motorcycle, the accused persons intercepted and tried to snatch the bag containing Rs. 2,45,000/- as also the other materials. In between, they opened fire also which hit the motorcycle. They managed to escape with the bag which followed the FIR.

4. A Co-ordinate Bench had called for the case diary which is now available and it shows the Test Identification Chart in which the informant identified the accused persons

5. Though learned counsel for the petitioner tried to impress upon this Court regarding his innocence and being in jail since December, 2024, learned APP has taken this Court to paragraph 3 to show that he has criminal antecedent.

6. Taking into account the aforesaid facts and his identification by the informant, for the present, this Court is not inclined to extend him the privilege of bail which is accordingly rejected.
