It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that father of the petitioner, who was working on the post of Chowkidar in Makhdumpur Police Station under Makhdumpur Circle, died in harness on 28.07.2009 due to illness. Thereafter, the petitioner filed an application before the S.H.O. Makhdumpur on 08.12.2009 and before the Superintendent of Police, Jehanabad on 12.12.2009 for appointment to the post of Chowkidar on compassionate ground. It is further submitted that the petitioner was asked by the local authority to submit application in proper format and accordingly, the petitioner submitted application twice before the authority concerned, but till date, no order has been passed on his application.

With above observation, the writ application stands disposed of.
