JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 08-03-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 286/16 instituted for the offence under sections 341, 323, 307, 504/34 of the Indian Penal Code. There is allegation against this petitioner that he along with three unknown persons assaulted with iron rod on the head of the informant. The younger brother Keshav Kumar came to his rescue then he was also assaulted with iron rod, causing serious injury. There is land dispute between the parties. The injury report has been annexed at Annexure-2 which shows, both the injured have sustained injury caused by hard and blunt substance.

Under such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below and make prayer for regular bail. (Sanjay Priya, J) Ravi/- U T
