====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SAMARENDRA PRATAP SINGH ORAL ORDER 14-08-2015 The petitioner prays for quashing energy bill of 1999 to 2008 amounting to Rs.3,26,210.35 against Consumer connection no. RJ 5199.

The petitioner submits that the respondents could have calculated the electricity bill for the aforesaid period as per agreement of connection dated 25.3.1997 on the basis of 50 HP and seasonal agreement.

Counter affidavit has been filed by the respondents stating that the petitioner has been charged for energy consumption treating the load as 60 HP which fact was also known and accepted by the petitioner as he paid the enhanced

Patna High Court CWJC No.10076 of 2013 (2) dt.14-08-2015 2/2 energy charges. Counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has challenged the bill beyond the period of three years which is not permissible in law.

The writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievances.
