The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauli P. S. Case No. 35 of 2020 dated 11.02.2020, instituted for the offences under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The daughter of the informant, namely,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25920 of 2020(2) dt.12-10-2020 2/3 Priyanka Kumari, was found hanging from the ceiling of the new building of the school and her hands and legs were tied with a cloth. F.I.R., thus, was registered against unknown. However, during the course of investigation, one Ankit Patel was arrested on suspicion. The aforesaid Ankit Patel has named the petitioner and one Durgesh Kumar Singh as having participated in the murder. There is no eye-witness to the occurrence and except for the confession of Ankit Patel, there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the offence. The petitioner is said to be in custody since 12.02.2020 and is also a person of clean antecedents. Considering the afore-stated facts, the petitioner, above-named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000 /- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sri Ravikand Mani Tripathi, learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Gopalganj in connection with Barauli P. S. Case
