Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gopalganj P.S. Case No. 37 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 8(C) and 20(a) of the N.D.P.S. Act. On query, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that till date charges have not been framed.

Considering the recovery of 5.79 grams of Smack from the possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to him for the present even though he is in custody since 18.01.2020.

The petitioner would be at liberty to renew his prayer
