Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Lauriya P.S. Case No. 232 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 395 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.11.2022 and 8 cases are pending against the petitioner, in which he has made accused and in 7 cases the petitioner has been granted bail.

Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Accordingly, the prayer of bail of the petitioner is rejected herewith.

The District Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran is directed to expedite the trial of all the cases in one court pending against the petitioner.

The Senior Superintendent of Police, Bettiah, West Champaran is also directed to cooperate in the disposal of the trial and sent a report of the trial within six months as directed by this Court.

Let a copy of this order be communicated to District Judge, Bettiah, West Champaran and Superintendent of Police, Bettiah, West Champaran for its forthwith compliance. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Guddu/- U T
