30-11-2018 Heard Sri Anil Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The sole petitioner, who is in custody only since 12-08-2018 in a case, which was registered long back in the year 2007, vide Pakridayal P.S. Case No. 38 of 2007, for the offence under Sections 302/201 of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that dispute in between the parties has already been settled and compromise petition has been filed, vide Annexure - 2 to the petition. Filing of the compromise petition indicates that petitioner directly or indirectly is trying to influence the informant. I do not find any ground to pass any favourable order.
