JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 25-08-2015 Petitioner has annexed Annexure- 5, which is a Hqr. Signal No.M-III-1/2007-CC, dated 16.11.2007, which indicates that colour blindness will not come in the way of a person otherwise found fit for promotion. However, despite such a communication in existence, vide Annexure- 2, dated 19.12.2012, the petitioner's promotion has been cancelled on the ground of colour blindness. The counter affidavit of Union of India indicates that the authorities are considering the matter but no final decision has been taken because counsel for the petitioner informs the Court that he has no knowledge of any decision annulling Annexure- 2 has been taken.

Patna High Court CWJC No.1148 of 2013 dt.25-08-2015 2/2 The writ application is disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.3, IG, CRPF, Bihar Sector that grievance of the petitioner of withdrawing the order of promotion contained in Annexure- 2 must be taken, if not already taken, and communicated to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order.
