Petitioner is languishing in custody for the offences punishable under Sections 147/341/323/324/326/307 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Allegation of causing spirit burn injury to the informant and others is against co-accused Sita Devi, Rajkali Devi and Sukhari Rai. The petitioner, who is a relation of the informant, has forcefully taken possession of the land of the informant.
