The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No.221of 2016 registered under Sections 341, 323, 504, 498/34 of I.P.C. and 3⁄4 of D.P.Act. Accusation is of torturing of the complainant/O.P.No.2 by her husband and other in-laws due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the joint prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner and O.P.No.2 the matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation Centre,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12899 of 2017 (6) dt.06-10-2017 2/2 Patna where the matter was settled in between the petitioner and the O.P.No.2 entering into written agreement. Accordingly, the petitioner took O.P.NO.2 wife to his house on 30.09.2017. Having considered the aforesaid facts and the circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the A.C.J.M. 1st, Nawada, in connection with Akbarpur P.S. Case No.221 of 2016, G.R.No.3333/16 subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
