Petitioner is in custody in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2019 for the offence Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act, 2016.

In the instant case total 3658.80 liters of foreign liquor was seized from a truck.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent he is in custody since 14.1.2019.

Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he has remained in custody for nearly five and half months, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.20496 of 2019(3) dt.29-05-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of IInd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur, in connection with Hajipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 24 of 2019.
