Writ petitioner has approached this Court for a direction upon the respondents to appoint him on compassionate ground as he is grand son of deceased Chaukidar. It is the assertion of learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was entitled to the same in light of the Home Department (Police), Government of Bihar Letter dated 19.11.1994.
Claim of the petitioner was duly considered and rejected by the District Compassionate Committee, Muzaffarpur in its meeting dated 21.11.2007. Nearly eight years thereafter writ petition has been filed. Order of rejection by the District Compassionate Committee, Muzaffarpur has not been challenged. Apart from that there is no assertion in the writ
Patna High Court CWJC No.14338 of 2015(2) dt.22-01-2019 2/2 petition that other than the petitioner (grand son of the deceased) whether there was any son or daughter of the deceased so as to make him entitle for appointment in question keeping in view of the stipulations contained in said letter dated 19.11.1994 of the Home Department, Government of Bihar.
