Learned counsel for the petitioner is permitted to remove defect(s), as pointed out by the office, if any, within a period of four weeks from today.

The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in connection with P.R. No. 09 of 2022 (Special Excise Case No. 185 of 2022) registered for the offences under Sections 30(a(c)(d) and 56(b) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the landlord of the godown which was given on rent before the recovery of illicit liquor as also she is a lady, this anticipatory bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.23477 of 2022(2) dt.13-05-2022 2/2 arrest/surrender within four weeks from today in the Court below, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-XVI-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna, in connection with P.R. No. 09 of 2022 (Special Excise Case No. 185 of 2022), subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark her attendance in the Alamganj Police Station, Patna, on first Sunday of every month during the course of the pendency of the case. In default in making her attendance in the aforesaid Police Station, will result into cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
