The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Complaint Case No. 190 of 2015 registered for the offences under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The complainant alleged that she was married to the petitioner in the year 2008 but her husband and others brutally assaulted her and drove out her from the house for the demand of additional dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner left her house along with her child and she is living with Sanjeev Ram. Prior to this case, the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.12767 of 2017 (2) dt.11-04-2017 2/2 lodged Teghra P.S. case No. 416 of 2014 against Sanjeev Ram and others for kidnapping his wife. Sanjeev Ram before the Gram Panchayat disclosed that he is keeping the wife of the petitioner with him, as she was brutally assaulted by her husband and others. He also disclosed in his petition that he is ready to keep Sangam Devi as his wife.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial MagistrateVIII, Vaishali in Complaint Case No. 190 of 2015, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
