JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 31-08-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ / writs, direction/ directions directing the respondents to pay entire benefit of 6th Pay Revision to the petitioner w.e.f. 01.01.1996 with all consequential benefit and with up-to-date interest upon the amount payable to the petitioner. And further to dispose off the writ application in light of similar matter allowed by this Hon'ble Court in CWJC No. 4341 of 2007 disposed off on 13.5.2014."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty, so sought, is granted.
