2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with NDPS P.S. Case No. 208 of 2022 arising out of DRI No. 1 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(B), (II) (C) of the NDPS Act.
3. A truck was intercepted and the petitioner along with one another person was found sitting in a truck bearing Reg. No. HR62A/2571, from search of which, 236.520 kgs of ganja was recovered. Earlier the bail petition of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 19.06.2023 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10044 of 2023.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.25541 of 2024(6) dt.28-08-2024 2/2 that the fresh ground of making prayer for bail is the delay in conclusion of the trial.
5. The report of the learned Trial Court shows that 50% witnesses have been examined. The charges have been framed on 15.01.2023.
6. I do not see any reason to reconsider the earlier order dated 19.06.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 10044 of 2023.
7. Accordingly, this criminal miscellaneous petition is rejected.
