JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 29-09-2021 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Ashok Kumar, the learned APP appearing for the State. The present petition has been filed seeking regular bail to the petitioner in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 452 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Sections 413, 414, 467, 468, 471, 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 20, 22, 23, 27 (A) of N.D.P.S. Case.

Though the present petition is by way of second attempt at the behest of the petitioner for grant of regular bail in as much as the earlier petition of the petitioner for grant of regular bail was permitted to be withdrawn by this Court by an order dated 09.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 34899 of 2020, however, the learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to issuance of a direction upon the learned court below to

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31323 of 2021(3) dt.29-09-2021 2/2 expedite the trial.

Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of as withdrawn, however, with an observation that the learned court of Sessions Judge, Vaishali at Hajipur may expedite the trial in connection with Mahua P.S. Case No. 452 of 2020 and may conclude the trial, preferably within a period of one year from today.
