The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 120B/34, 364, 366A, 372 and 373 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case got initiated on the filing of a complaint case and is to the effect that the informant allowed her daughter Gulsan Kumari to work as a private domestic helper in the house of Uma Kumari. On 15.10.2017 when the informant came to the house of Uma Kumari to meet his daughter, she was not found there. When the informant made protest, he was abused and threatened by the accused persons including the petitioner and was informed that his daughter was sold at the hands of some residents of U.P.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.70735 of 2018(2) dt.17-12-2018 2/2 It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the thrust of accusation is against Uma Devi. A statement has been made in paragraph no.3 of the petition that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent.

It is submitted by learned APP for the State that the petitioner is also named in the FIR.

Considering the thrust of accusation against coaccused, Uma Devi, coupled with statement made in paragraph no.3 of the petition that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent, let the above named petitioner be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-IV, Supaul in connection with Chhatapur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
