The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 414/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Raju Kumar, who was apprehended with stolen motorcycle.

It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that no stolen article has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and he has been made accused only on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused, which has got no evidentiary value in the eye of law. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.31025 of 2021(3) dt.19-07-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of his arrest/surrender within a period of six weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Rohtas at Sasaram in connection with Sasaram (T) P.S.
