JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 05-10-2015 Heard. With the consent of both the parties, the application is being disposed of at the admission stage itself. The petitioner claims herself to be the widow of Ram Nath Prasad who is said to have died a civil death. Armed with letter of administration issued by the Administrator General of Bihar, the petitioner requested the respondent Bank to pay the maturity value of the deposits made by her husband with the respondent Bank in S.B. A/C No. 19198 with up-to-date interest as also the maturity value of the fixed deposit against certificate no. 592253 (Account No. 9431) issued by the Bank.

Mr. Kumar Priya Ranjan, Counsel for the Bank, on instruction,

Patna High Court CWJC No.18076 of 2013 dt.05-10-2015 2/2 states that if the petitioner appears in person along with indemnity bond, affidavit in appropriate format as also two witnesses, the respondent Bank will make payment of the dues against those two accounts/fixed deposits.

Counsel for the petitioner has agreed to do so. The application is disposed of by directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent Bank along with indemnity bond, affidavit in the format provided by the Bank along with two witnesses. The respondent Bank will accept those documents and make payment of the matured value of the fixed deposit amount as also the balance amount standing in Saving Bank Account no. 19198 in the name of husband of the petitioner namely Ram Nath Prasad within 07 days of such production of the documents and her appearance along with two witnesses.
