JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 28-04-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Ram Naresh Roy, learned counsel for the State. This application has been preferred seeking quashing of the First Information Report of Piprahi P.S. Case No. 234 of 2020 registered for the offences under Sections 20, 22 and 24 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigation in this case is complete and a charge-sheet has been filed whereupon the learned court below has taken cognizance and issued summons against the petitioner. After some argument, learned counsel for the

No.33320 of 2021(2) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this application with liberty to challenge the order taking cognizance and issuance of summons, if so advised, or to raise all such steps which are available to the petitioner at the time of framing of charge.
Permission is granted.
This application is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for.
