In this case, the petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Hathua P.S. Case No. 227 of 2018, registered for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 406 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code.
Allegation has been made against the petitioner to have illegally sold the land of the informant. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the co-sharer of the land, in question, and has sold his share of land, but has wrongly been implicated in the present case.
