The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhuban P.S. Case No. 166 of 2015 registered under Sections 304-B and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner being the husband is alleged to have burnt his wife to death within four years of marriage for nonfulfillment of demand of motorcycle and gold chain. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the death of the victim was caused due to accidental burn and later on the informant of the case, realizing a wrong information given to the police, has retracted from his earlier version and has filed a compromise petition before the court.
