The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Special Case No. 51A of 2018 arising out of Maigra P.S. Case No. 26 of 2018 registered under Sections 420/384/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 7/8/9/13(i)(d) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. He is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics. Further he submits that only on the confessional statement of co-accused, petitioner has been made accused in this case.
