The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "That, this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ (s)/ direction (s) commanding the respondents to appoint/regularize the services of the petitioner on class IV post who are working as cattle guard in the department on daily wages basis in the District of East Champaran who have worked under the respondents for more than 240 days prior to 11.12.1990 and also for grant of all other consequential reliefs / benefits for which the petitioners are entitled to in pursuance of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18314 of 2015(2) dt.27-09-2023 2/2 resolution dated 16.3.2006 issued by the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department, Govt. of Bihar, Patna."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that with the efflux of time, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous, nonetheless, the petitioners be granted liberty to available such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law.

Liberty so sought is granted.

The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
