The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Goraul (Kathara O.P.) P. S. Case No. 216 of 2015 registered under Sections 342, 323, 307 and 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The FIR is based on the dying declaration of the informant. The informant is none else but the wife of the petitioner. In her fardbeyan, she has stated that in an intoxicated state of mind, the petitioner poured kerosene oil on her person and set her on fire. The victim died during treatment within 24 hours of the incident in the hospital.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and
