The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Nath Nagar P.S. Case No. 176 of 2020 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 325, 379, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Bhagalpur.
As per the prosecution case, allegation against the petitioner is that he along with three persons assaulted the informant and threatened him not to lodge a case with regard to the bouncing of cheque.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. The allegation levelled against the petitioner is not

He submits that no incriminating article has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para-3 of the bail application. Learned APP for the State opposes prayer for anticipatory bail and submits that the informant received grievous injury.
Considering the facts and circumstances of case, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. The prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) anand/- U T
