1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ order or direction for quashing letter No. Ra.Ka 3225/ 2023 Dt. 31/07/2023 issued by S.P. (A) Special Branch Bihar Patna whereby saying that as per finance Department Bihar Patna Memo 3A-3-allowance-01/2023-6011/ Finance Patna Dt.10/07/2023 the deputation and posting housing rent allowance and City transport

Patna High Court CWJC No.5638 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 2/3 14 allowance of government servant is permissible and in the light of above letter of Finance Department, the officers and personnels of Special Branch Bihar Patna housing rent allowance and city transport allowance is due as per their work place at the rate given in finance departmental resolution No.8043 Dt. 11/10/2017 and on the above the recommendation of A.D.G Spe14cial Branch Bihar Patna is also there and the copy of the same has been given to accountant Special Branch Bihar Patna and others for information and required action i.e. Annexure P-1 and for a direction to respondent not to deduct the housing rent allowance from the salaries of officers and employees of Special Branch Bihar Patna who are deputed in different district of Bihar in the light of letter NO. Ra.

Ka 3225/2023 Dt. 31/07/2023 issued by S.P. (A) Special Branch Bihar Patna which has been implemented from August 2023 as any deduction in the housing rent allowance made in the light of above letter of the S.P.

Patna High Court CWJC No.5638 of 2024(2) dt.18-04-2024 3/3 14 information hiding their identity and they send report to their Head quarter at Patna online and hard copy unlike Bihar Police force and other State employees and also as the same is not being implemented in C.I.D, EOU, Vigilance Bihar Police Radio, and other units and Bihar Special Armed Police force 01, 05, 10, & 14 and Special Branch is also a Special Unit and thus implementing the same in Special Branch is arbitrary and Discriminatory and violative of Article 14 16 and 21 of the constitution and also for direction not to implement memo no-3A-3-allowances-01/2023-6011/ Finance Patna Dt. 10/07/2023 issued by respondent no-4 in special branch as the same would be illegal and also for grant of all consequential benefits to the petitioners and all other employees of Special Branch i.e. Inspector, Sub-Inspector & Assistant Sub-Inspector."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent-authorities for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The present writ petition stands disposed off as not pressed.
