The petitioners seek bail in a case registered under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the allegation, about ten persons including these petitioners had assaulted the wife of the informant by slaps, fists, lathis, etc. and she succumbed to the injuries. It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that though ten persons have allegedly assaulted the deceased but the PostMortem report shows no external or internal injuries on the body of the deceased and viscera has been sent for examination. It is submitted that in view thereof the entire manner of occurrence leading to the death of the wife of the informant stands falsified as

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.42683 of 2016 (2) dt.06-10-2016 it is improbable that ten persons would assault by fists, slaps, leg and lathis and not a single injury would be there on the body of the said person. It is further submitted that that the petitioners are ladies and have remained in custody since 12.06.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioners, Bebi Devi, Renu Devi and Kiran Devi, are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Ist, Saharsa, in connection with Bangaon Police Station Case No. 41/2016.
