Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 386 and other minor sections of the Indian Penal Code, 17 of the CLA Act as well as various sections of U.A.P. Act.

No doubt, petitioner is named in the first information report but the informant claims that after the occurrence, he came to know about involvement of the petitioner and others including one Sanjay. Submission on behalf of the petitioner is that co-accused Sanjay has already been granted privilege of bail by a coordinate bench of this court.

The impugned order goes to show that except the aforesaid material, confessional statement as well as some criminal antecedent of the petitioner, there is nothing against him. Accordingly, petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like
