JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 26-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That instant writ application is being filed for direction to the authorities to grant compassionate appointment to the petitioner, who is widow of deceased employee namely Dr.

Vivekanand Singh who has died in harness and/or for any other order/orders may be passed in the facts and circumstances of the case."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks a direction upon the Director, Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology, PMCH, Patna, to send the application, filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.6710 of 2024(2) dt.26-04-2024 2/2 petitioner, for grant of compassionate appointment to the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Patna, for consideration of the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground. 3.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the Director, Indira Gandhi Institute of Cardiology, PMCH, Patna, to forward the application of the petitioner, filed for appointment on compassionate ground, in case the same has actually been filed, to the District Magistrate-cum-Chairman District Compassionate Appointment Committee, Patna, within a period of four weeks from today, who shall then decide the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.
