The petitioner seeks bail in G.O. Case No. 743 of 2018 arising out of Sindhwara (Singhwara) P.S. case no. 171 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 30(a) of the Bihar Excise and Prohibition Act.

It is alleged in the written report that police received secret information about unloading of illicit liquor from truck. On getting this information, police reached at the place of occurrence. Having seen the police party several persons managed to run away. But, on chase, four persons were apprehended which include this petitioner. They confessed their involvement in the business of liquor. It is further alleged that total 4627.44 litres of liquor has been recovered from a

Petitioner and other accused persons were apprehended on the spot . Keeping in view the recovery of huge quantity of liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. The prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected. Petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after six months, if no substantial progress is made in the case. (Sanjay Priya, J) shyambihari/- U T
